XTL Student Leader Grad Spotlight: Tyona McCoy-Jennette

Tyona McCoy-Jennette first discovered Global Kinship Center through her mother, who had already experienced the transformational impact of the work. From her very first day, she felt something powerful, a “magical” sense of love and belonging that drew her in and continues to inspire her today.

Through the training, Tyona experienced a profound shift in her self-efficacy by learning to believe in herself fully, love herself authentically, and trust the power she holds within. “Since being in an environment where believing in myself was necessary,” she shares, “I have grown to love myself authentically and trust the power I have within me.”

Her understanding of team has also evolved from a group working toward a task to “many different sources of power that work to make a vision come to life.” Tyona now sees connection and synergy as essential elements of true teamwork.

Tyona’s ability to influence others has expanded in every area of her life from home to community and friendships. She has inspired many of her closest friends to invest in themselves and experience the same transformational journey.

One of her proudest accomplishments since completing the training is becoming a Captain , a role she once never imagined possible. “It truly has meant the world to me to be honored with that position and to give back to the amazing community that gave so much to me.”

Today, Tyona serves as a Captain Ambassador , working with and training future captains to keep the ripple of transformation alive and growing.

Her message to anyone considering this work is simple yet powerful:

“This work is one of a kind! When I ask myself what will help me be the best version of myself, Global Kinship comes to mind. Doing this work is what sets me apart from everyone everywhere I go.”

GKC Grad Spotlight: Jessica Woolverton (LM1 Graduate)

When Jessica Woolverton first said yes to the Global Kinship Center, she was standing at a crossroads in her leadership journey. “I felt lost in my next steps and disconnected from my deeper purpose,” she recalls. Though she had already done meaningful inner work, something in her knew it was time to go further, to stretch, get uncomfortable, and step into a new level of self-trust and influence. “GKC called me forward at exactly the right moment,” she says.

Through the course, Jessica experienced one of the most transformative shifts of her life: she stopped leading from the need to prove herself. Instead, she began leading from the truth of who she is. “This work helped me come home to myself in a way that felt safe, powerful, and free,” she shares. “Now I trust myself more deeply than ever.”

Her understanding of team also evolved in profound ways. Before the training, she saw team as shared responsibility of people dividing up tasks to reach a goal. Now, she defines it as shared humanity: “It’s a place where we build together through love, challenge, and truth. I no longer lead alone, and that changes everything.”

Jessica’s influence has grown far beyond words. She leads by example, through her grounded presence and the embodiment of her purpose. “I no longer lead to be liked or validated. I lead from truth, and people feel that.” That inner alignment has fueled a wave of outer success. Since training, Jessica launched The Wolf Den Mobile Wellness Lounge , an innovative concept blending wellness, recovery, and community connection on the move.

In its very first 90 days, The Wolf Den became the featured mobile spa for South Florida Wellness Week, and Jessica was invited as a spotlight speaker at the ISOTEN Fitness Challenge, presenting in partnership with NativeDriven Inc. and the Hard Rock Hotel. She is now in conversation with the Seminole Tribe and Seminole Sports Academy to create long-term collaborations rooted in wellness and holistic health.

Jessica’s achievements extend far beyond business milestones. On a personal level, she purchased her first home, built a life with the love of her life, and continues to collaborate with nonprofits including Gilda’s Club, Bleeding Blue, Thank You First Responders, Mindful Love Foundation, Pines Run Club, and Nameless Run Club all while staying deeply connected to her GKC family.

When asked how she keeps the ripple alive, Jessica’s answer is simple: she lives it. “I stay connected by living the work out loud and integrating it into everything I do. I share the tools through my business, retreats, and community partnerships, and I continue to enroll others into this work because I believe in its power.”

Her message to anyone considering the training radiates from that same conviction:

“If your spirit is even whispering yes, listen. This work will meet you exactly where you are and call you into who you were always meant to be. It’s not about fixing you—it’s about remembering you.”

For Jessica, this journey has been nothing short of life-altering. “This work cracked me open in the best way,” she reflects. “It reminded me that leadership begins within, and that healing and impact can live in the same space. I am forever grateful for the GKC community, the friendships, and the mirror it gave me to see myself more clearly.”

Jessica Woolverton continues to live fully aligned and unapologetically on purpose by embodying the very essence of Global Kinship Center’s mission to empower leaders who create a ripple of compassion, connection, and transformation wherever they go.

A Night to Remember: Behind Every Mask, A Mission

The 1st Annual Global Kinship Center Masquerade Ball was a living expression of our mission to create a world rooted in empathy, compassion, and meaningful impact.

Guests gathered to honor three extraordinary leaders whose lives represent the full circle of transformation we cultivate:

Ms. Bettie J. Spruill and Dr. Ray Blanchard : Our Transformational Leadership Lifetime Achievement Award Honorees are legendary pioneers of transformational leadership. As beloved mentors, thier adult-training methodology has shaped generations of conscious leaders.

Tyona McCoy-Jennette , Student Leader of the Year Honoree, is a bright example of courage and service through the Extreme Teen Leaders program , which helps young people discover their voice, build confidence, and lead from purpose.

Together, their leadership bridges youth and adulthood, modeling what’s possible when transformation begins within and ripples outward.
